The Book Name Titled “ARMNESIA” Written By an Author Sohan S Das(Author of Clever Fox Publishing)

Clever Fox Publishing: Tell us something about your background?
Sohan: I am Sohan Das from England, I’m a teenager, I have a passion for medicine and music and I am now an author.
Clever Fox Publishing: When and how did you start your writing journey?
Sohan: My first piece of writing that I remember is a short poem I wrote in year 3, when I was 7, recounting the experiences of a child during the Blitz, written because we were learning about it in school. I remember it being published in my school magazine as well, which is the first time I thought about writing as something I wanted to do for fun.
Clever Fox Publishing: What is your book all about?
Sohan: The book is a short read adventure aimed at young teens focusing on biological warfare and business, with a James Bond style plot. It follows the travels of a British soldier, Anthony Allen, who falls victim to a biological attack and must work to get his memory back and expose the man behind it all.
Clever Fox Publishing: What prompted you to write this book?
Sohan: The book started out as a short novel opening for a school competition, which I decided to finish afterwards as I had time and I wanted to see where I could take it, and I did with a bit of encouragement from my parents.
Clever Fox Publishing: How was your pre-writing experience? What urged you?
Sohan: My pre-writing experience was a lot of research about the British military, its operations, equipments and bases, as well as research about amnesia and its effects.
Clever Fox Publishing: How was your writing experience? Smooth or bumpy?
Sohan: Writing was quite hard as I became demotivated quite a lot and I had a lot of things going on at the same time, so it was quite bumpy and I had to stop and start a lot. I ended up writing most of the book and then sitting on it for a year before I finished it and sent it off to get published.
Clever Fox Publishing: How much did your publishers contribute? Did they ease the process for you?
Sohan: The publishers were great, helping me to design the book and helping me edit the book.
Clever Fox Publishing: What is the reaction of your family and friends to you writing this book?
Sohan: My family were very proud of me for getting a book published, and my friends were surprised but pleased for me. My parents were most happy for me, as they pushed me to complete the short story the whole way.
Clever Fox Publishing: Mention the people who supported you in this journey.
Sohan: As I said, my parents were integral to me completing the book and Lalitha Ravindran was also incredibly helpful in getting my book published.
Clever Fox Publishing: How is your book going to impact the readers?
Sohan: I think the book will make people think about biological warfare and the effects any biological agent can have, especially coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, it will make people think about the motivations of the Pharma industry, with constantly increasing prices for common life saving drugs becoming an issue world wide.
Clever Fox Publishing: How do you deal with negative comments if any?
Sohan: In my opinion, negative comments should always be listened to and rationalised, as sometimes it is beneficial criticism and helps me to improve the book and my writing, but sometimes it is unnecessary and somewhat cruel, which is never nice but I just ignore it.
Clever Fox Publishing: Who are your literary mentors and role models?
Sohan: I don’t really have any role models of any sort, I just try to be the best person I can be.
Clever Fox Publishing: What are your upcoming writing ventures?
Sohan: I have a short poetry anthology being published and I am thinking about writing a sequel to my book but I’m not sure about it yet.
Clever Fox Publishing: Any piece of advice for our aspiring writers.
Sohan: I would only say write what you want to write, not what you think people want to read.
