Bigg Boss 16 contestants confirmed: Salman Khan announced that Tajikistan singer Abdu Rozik is the first contestant of Bigg Boss 16. The BB16 host revealed the name at a press conference held in Mumbai on Tuesday evening.
Salman, who first introduced him to the country as a host, asked him to sing a few songs for the crowd before surprising everyone by revealing that he is the first confirmed Bigg Boss 16 contestant. Abdu Rozik impressed Salman by performing Dil Deewana from Maine Pyar Kiya.
“Great, he doesn’t understand Hindi but he can sing Hindi songs,” Salman said.
The Bigg Boss 16 host also revealed that Abdu will not only appear on the reality show, but he is also a part of Salman’s much-talked-about film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Discussing the show, Abdu admitted that he thought Bigg Boss was all about drama, but Salman reminded him that the show also has romance.
Expressing his excitement about joining the reality show, Abdu said: “I am very happy. I am excited to go inside. I love everyone, please support me, please vote for me and please don’t fight me.”
Abdu Rozik, who was announced as the first confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss 16, is a singer and presenter from Tajikistan. He won the Internet with the song “Ohi Deli Zor”. The singer has a YouTube channel called Avlod Media and has more than 580,000 subscribers. He boasts 3.5 million followers on Instagram and has taken pictures with several stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo. Salman, who belongs to a gardener family, confirmed that Abdu is over 18 and eligible to participate in Bigg Boss 16.
