Chennai-Mysore-Bangalore Vande Bharat Express: Timings, Ticket Fare, Travel Time
South India’s first Vande Bharat Express is set to depart from Chennai via Bengaluru to Mysore this week. This is the fifth Vande Bharat Express to be launched in India and will take 6 hours 40 minutes to cover the distance of 479 km. Indian Railways has successfully trialled the train, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the 16-coach, 1,128-passenger train from KSR Bengaluru on Friday, November 11. Vande Bharat Express Chennai-Mysore-Bangalore route
This train will run from Chennai Central to Bengaluru via Mysore Junction, Perambur, Vepampatu, Gadpadi Junction, Gudupally and Malur. During the 6 hours and 40 minutes journey, Vande Bharat Express stops only at Bengaluru City Junction.
Vande Bharat Express Chennai-Bangalore-Mysore Timetable and Timings
The train will run six days a week except Wednesday. It will start its journey from Chennai Central at 5.50 am and reach Bengaluru City Junction at 10.25 am, covering a distance of 359 km after a five-minute halt before leaving for its final destination and reaching Mysore Junction at 12.30 pm. 137.6 km.
On the return journey, the train departs Mysore Junction at 1:05 PM and reaches Bengaluru City Junction at 2:55 PM. After a halt of five minutes, the train will depart from Bengaluru City Junction and reach its final destination Chennai Central at 7:35 PM.
Vande Bharat Express Train Chennai-Bangalore-Mysore Ticket Fare
Fares for an economy class or A/C seat will start from Rs 921, while for executive class it will be Rs 1,880, according to news sources. For those traveling from Mysore to Bangalore, the fare is Rs 368 for Economy and Rs 768 for Executive Class. Booking will open soon on IRCTC website.
