Moscow: A chess robot grabbed the finger of his 7-year-old rival and broke it during the last week Moscow Chess Open TournamentRussian media reported on Monday.

A video shared on social media shows the robot taking one of the boy’s pieces and then holding his finger as it attempts to move.
The four adults then run, struggling to free the boy before he is taken away from the chessboard.
Lazarev said that the chess federation hired robots that had appeared in several previous events without incident.
He said that the boy was able to play again the next day and finished the tournament with his finger in a cast.
