Godfather Box Office Collection Day 1: Chiranjeevi’s Latest Collection, 38 Crore Collection
Chiranjeevi’s latest release Godfather has proved that the megastar’s massive fan base is as supportive as ever. The film opened big at the box office, and according to film trade analysts, Godfather earned around Rs 38 crore on its first day.

In a tweet, movie tracker Ramesh Pala tweeted, “#GodFather opens BIG at the box office with 38Cr WW collections on its first day! (sic)” is also predicted to continue doing well during the holiday season.
Despite mixed reviews, the film has been a box office success. Manoj Kumar of The Indian Express gave the film three stars and wrote, “Though Lucifer is set against a political backdrop, the film draws heavily on presenting Stephen as a mythological character. However, director Mohan Raja has ditched the mystery and turned Godfather into a full political drama (sic).
Directed by Mohan Raja, The Godfather is a Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer starring Mohanlal in the lead role. Apart from Chiranjeevi, the film also stars Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana and Murali Mohan in lead roles.
