Twitter chief Elon Musk announced on Friday that he will create a ‘Content Review Council’ for Twitter, which will certainly have differing viewpoints. He said the council should be responsible for all major content related decisions and no account restructuring would be done before the council meets.
“Twitter will create a content review committee with diverse perspectives. No major content decisions or account restructuring will happen before that council meets,” he tweeted after closing the $44 billion deal.
The Tesla CEO raised suspicions among social media users when he tweeted “Let the good times roll” on Twitter shortly after closing the deal to acquire the social media platform.
The Tesla and SpaceX owner is expected to remain CEO of Twitter in the interim, but may leave the role for the long term, according to media reports.
He also tweeted, “Comedy is now legal on Twitter.”
