Kedarnath helicopter crash: Scenes from the crash site reveal horror
A huge plume of smoke can be seen billowing from where the helicopter exploded after the crash.
A helicopter carrying pilgrims from Guptkashi to Kedarnath in Uttarakhand crashed in the early hours of Tuesday, killing six people. Teams of State and National Disaster Response Force (SDRF, NDRF) have rushed to the site of the accident.
In a video of the horrific crash shared by news agency ANI, several locals and other pilgrims can be seen near the helicopter crash site. A huge plume of smoke can be seen billowing from where the helicopter exploded after the crash.
In pictures accessed by Hindustan Times, the crashed helicopter can be seen engulfed in flames, parts of which are strewn across the site.

Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia confirmed the accident. The Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered a detailed inquiry into the crash of the Aryan Aviation Bel-407 helicopter.
