Kolkata-based Shlok Mukherjee is India’s winner of the Doodle for Google 2022 competition.
Kolkata native Shlok Mukherjee of Delhi Public School, Newtown, Kolkata has been selected as the winner of the 022 Doodle for Google India competition. Shlok doodles his hope that India’s scientific advancements will take center stage.
Responding to the theme “In the next 25 years, my India…”, this year’s contest received over 115,000 entries from children in classes 1 to 10 from over 100 cities across India. We were amazed by the creativity and imagination students brought to their entries, and the advancement and sustainability of technology emerged as a common theme in many of the doodles, Google said in a press release.

Shlok’s Doodle will be featured on Google.co.in for 24 hours on November 14, 2022. This year’s Google Doodle panel of judges included actor, filmmaker, producer and television personality Neena Gupta; Editor-in-Chief at Tingle Comics, Kyriakos Vaisian; YouTube creators Slayypoint; and, artist and entrepreneur Alika Bhatt and the Google Doodle team. Together, they select 20 finalists from across the country, evaluating criteria of artistic merit, creativity, alignment with the competition theme, and uniqueness and innovation of approach.
