The New Delhi World Book Fair 2026 presents the launch of BAAZGASHT: Echoes of Words and Silence by Dr. Krishnendu Chatterjee—a deeply intimate poetry collection that speaks to the quiet spaces of the heart where love remains unspoken, unanswered, and yet transformative.
This book is not about chasing love.
It is about returning to oneself, when the call for love goes unanswered
About the Book
BAAZGASHT is a poetic homecoming—an echo that brings the reader back to breath after silence, to calm after longing, and to self-respect after emotional surrender.
These poems do not seek validation or applause. They are written to express, not impress—to hold the ache of loving without being loved back, and the quiet courage it takes to let go without resentment or blame.
Through spare, reflective verses, the poet documents what was felt, imagined, broken over, and gently healed.
Inside the book, readers will find:
- Poems that explore unreturned love with honesty and emotional restraint
- Reflections on surrender, self-worth, and the strength of choosing peace
- A gentle companion for moments of solitude, longing, and inner reckoning
- Language that does not rush healing, but allows it to unfold naturally
- A reminder that sometimes, the truest return is not to another person—but to oneself
BAAZGASHT is for anyone who has stood at the edge of love and chosen self-respect, for those who have loved deeply, quietly, and without expectation—and survived with grace.
