Ken Black dies in snowmobile accident
The pro rally driver made a name for himself, by promoting his Hoonigan brand while creating the much-loved Gymkhana video series.
Pro rally driver and Hoonigan co-founder Ken Black was killed in a snowmobile accident on January 2, 2023. He is 55 years old.
The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office released an official statement confirming Black’s death. They noted that Ken Black was riding his snowmobile down a steep slope in the Mill Hollow area of Woodland, Utah when it flipped over and fell on top of him.
Ken Black was riding with a group but was alone at the time of the crash. Police authority said he died on the spot.
