ISL 2022-23: Bengaluru FC vs Hyderabad FC Live Highlights
A great start to the second half by BFC with constant attacking options throughout the game and no players to convert the final ball into a goal. A couple of chances for Chhetri and Krishna didn’t pay off enough as they were very good with possession and carried the ball into the final third but couldn’t score. Poor defending at times and Gurpreet being beaten three times showed the connection BFC lacked in tonight’s match.
The loss has added to their woes as they sit eighth in the campaign with just 2 wins. Poor quality knots with 61% possession and 400 passes are yet to increase chances.
The win saw Hyderabad return to the top of the points table and maintain another clean sheet. Bart Ogbeche returns as the hero after scoring and what a game Akash Mishra’s side had as they excelled on counter attacks and focused on breaking down the defensive line when in possession.
39% possession in the game and less than 250 passes still scoring three goals didn’t lift the spirits for Manola Marquez and the men. A good performance by the away team and a disappointing loss by the home team could put them in question for the playoffs as they struggle to find ways to win.
