New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt on Tuesday called out the media and tagged the Mumbai Police as an ‘invasion of privacy’ as she was clicked by photographers while hanging outside her house.

Alia Bhatt wrote a long note on his story on his Instagram handle.

She wrote, “Are you kidding me? I was sitting in my living room on a normal afternoon at home when I felt something watching me….I looked up and saw two men on the terrace of the building next to me with cameras! In what world is this okay and allowed?”

Targeting the Mumbai Police, he added, “It is safe to say that this is a massive invasion of one’s privacy, crossing all lines. @Mumbai Police.”

In the pictures, clicked without his permission, the actor is seen sitting on the balcony of his apartment.

After Alia shared the post on social media, her sister Shaheen Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor came out to support her.

Arjun reshared Alia’s Instagram story and wrote, “Absolutely shameful. If a woman doesn’t realize this is beyond all limits. Safe in her own home, forget if she’s a public. Image or not for a second…”

“Any sane person who photographs public figures for a living should know this is deplorable behavior & those in the media we trusted show implicit confidence in believing they are here to do a job where women don’t feel unsafe. or invade one’s privacy. It is nothing short of a hunt. @mumbaipolice,” he continued, while also tagging the Mumbai Police.
