Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bholaa’ crosses Rs 50 crore mark at box office
Mumbai, Apr 5 (PTI) Actor Ajay Devgn’s “Bhola” has earned over Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office, the makers said on Tuesday.
Directed by Devgn and starring Tabu, the film released in theaters on March 30. It is produced by Ajay Devgn’s F Films, Reliance Entertainment, T-Series Films and Dream Warrior Pictures.
In its opening weekend, the action entertainer collected Rs 44.28 crore.
In a press release, the film collected Rs 4.80 crore on Tuesday, taking its box office tally to Rs 53.68 crore.
“Bola” revolves around an ex-convict who decides to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison, but gets caught up in a conflict between the police and the drug mafia.
It is a Hindi remake of the Tamil hit film “Kaithi” written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
“Bola” also stars Deepak Dobri, Vineeth Kumar, Sanjay Mishra and Gajaraj Rao. PTI RB RB
