Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff-starrer ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ to release on Eid 2024
Mumbai, May 5 (PTI) Superstar Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer action film “Bade Miyan Chot Miyan” will hit the theaters on Eid next year, the makers announced on Friday.
Produced by Pooja Entertainment, the film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. South Indian actor Prithviraj Sukuraman plays the villain.
“‘bade Miyan Chot Miyan’ is one of our most ambitious projects and working with three legends in their own right – Akshay Sir, Prithviraj and Tiger – is a dream come true. Their mesmerizing on-screen energy combined with entertaining and world-class action sequences will captivate audiences. This film hits theaters on Eid 2024. We can’t wait for the audience to see the grand spectacle,” producer and actor Jackie Bagnani said in a statement.
The upcoming action entertainer is part of Pooja Entertainment’s “Bade Miyan Chot Miyan” franchise. The original film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda was released in 1998.
Zafar, who wrote the film, said that working on a franchise like “Bade Miyan Chot Miyan” was a challenging and interesting experience.
“‘Bade Miyan Chot Miyan’ is very close to the heart of the audience and bringing all the entertaining elements in this mass entertainment film for the audience was a tough and enjoyable experience. Best of all, with the release slated for EID 2024, it will surely be a treat for the audience to enjoy the festival with power packed entertainment! he said.
Producer Deepshika Deshmukh says the friendship between Kumar and Shroff will captivate the audience.
“The camaraderie between Akshay Sir & Tiger will enthrall the audience with their enigmatic screen presence, unbridled energy and high-octane action sequences magically woven together by Ali. We can’t wait for the audience to watch the film on Eid 2024,” she said.
“Bade Miyan Chot Miyan” is presented by Vasu Bagnani and Pooja Entertainment in association with AAZ Films.
Producers are Vasu Bagnani, Deepshika Deshmukh, Jackie Bagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Zafar.
