BJP will win 2024 Lok Sabha elections Nitin Gadkari
New Delhi, Jun 1 (PTI) Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said that the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will win again in next year’s Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the ‘Times Network India Economic Conference’, Gadkari said the government has done good work for the development of the country in the last nine years.
Gadkari said there is a need to create employment to eradicate poverty and achieve the Prime Minister’s goal of making India a $5 trillion economy.
“2024 hum jitne wale hai. (We will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections),” the road transport minister said in reply to a question.
“We have done a good job and will form the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People will elect us for the development of the country,” he added.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, out of a total of 543 constituencies, the BJP won 303 seats while the Congress won only 52 seats.
The minister said India’s biggest problems are hunger, poverty and unemployment.
