CBSE Result 2023: CBSE Class 12 Results Declared, Here’s How To Check
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the Class 12 General Examination results on Friday. The board announced this information on its Twitter page. The results are published on the official websites cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. The buzz around the decision started spreading earlier this week, with a fake circular claiming May 11 as the date of announcement. But CBSE said that the letter is not genuine as they do not release dates in advance.
The pass percentage this year is 87.33 per cent, bettering the pre-Covid 2019 pass percentage of 83.40 per cent, CBSE said.
The board also said it will not offer first, second or third divisions to its students in a bid to avoid unhealthy competition. However, CBSE will award merit certificates to 0.1 percent of students who score high marks in subjects.
The zone with the best pass percentage is Thiruvananthapuram, where 99.91 percent students have cleared the exam. With 78.05 percent, Prayagraj is at the bottom of the list.
