Karnataka will be afflicted with riots if Congress comes to power: Amit Shah
Bagalkot (KDK), Apr 25 (PTI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that dynastic politics will be at the height of the state if the Congress comes to power in Karnataka and it will suffer from riots. The former BJP leader also said that the development of the state would be in “reverse gear” if the Congress forms the government.
Seeking a people’s mandate for “political stability” in Karnataka, which goes to polls on May 10, Shah said at a rally in Tertal in the district that only the BJP can lead the state towards a ‘new Karnataka’. “If the Congress comes to power, dynastic politics will always be at the fore and Karnataka will suffer from riots,” added Shah, one of the party’s key election strategists and campaigners.
“If the Congress comes to power by mistake, corruption will always be high and there will be ‘pacification’,” said Shah, who is on a two-day tour of Karnataka holding a series of public meetings, roadshows and inspection. Meeting with his party leaders. PTI GMS RS GMS GMS SS
