Nawazuddin Siddiqui “Not Letting” Me, Children In His House, Claims His Wife
Mumbai: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife Alia (Zainab) on Friday said the actor had thrown her and their two children out of their home.
The actor’s spokesperson denied the claim and said that the property is in his mother’s name, so he has no authority to decide on anyone’s entry.
In a series of videos posted on Instagram, Alia said the actor hired guards to “not let us in”. “… After staying at home for 40 days, I came out as officials from Versova police station called me urgently. But when I went home with my children, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had appointed many guards. us in (sic),” he captioned the video. In the clip, the actor’s daughter, 12, can be seen crying as the couple’s son, 7, stands with his mother.

No case has been registered with the police till date. In some videos, which went viral on social media, the actor was stopped by his brother Faizuddin from trying to meet his ailing mother.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s spokesperson said the caretaker of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother, Mehrunisa Siddiqui, says only her grandchildren are allowed in the property and no one else as the property now belongs to her.
Last month, the Bombay High Court directed Nawazuddin and his estranged wife to try to amicably resolve their differences over their two minor children.
Mr Siddiqui had filed a writ of habeas corpus seeking an order to his estranged wife to reveal the whereabouts of their children.
