Nushrratt Bharuccha in the Hindi remake of ‘Chatrapati’!
“Chhorii” sta rNushrratt Bharuccha will star in the Hindi remake of SS Rajamouli’s 2005 film “Chhatrapati”, the makers said on Monday.
Touted to be a “high octane action drama”, the film features Nushrat opposite Srinivas Bellamkonda. The film will hit the screens on May 12.
The actor said he is excited for his first pan-Indian action drama.
“I couldn’t have asked for anything better than a film like ‘Chatrapathi’. I am very happy to have worked with such great technicians and an amazing co-star Srinivas,” Nushrat said in a statement.
Srinivas, who is making his Hindi debut with the film, said working with Nushrat was a great experience.
“It’s easy to share friendship, thanks to him for making me feel comfortable in my first Bollywood film. ‘Chatrapati’ is very special to us and we hope the audience will love it. I’m excited. May 12,” he added.
Presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Penn Studios), “Chatrapati” is directed by V V Vinayak and written by V Vijayendra Prasad. It stars Bhagyashree, Sharad Kelkar and Karan Singh Chapra in lead roles.
