Gaikwad set a world record by scoring 43 runs in a single over.

Talking about the match, Gaikwat’s impressive performance helped Maharashtra, who batted first, post 330 for 5 in the second quarter-final of the match. Three of the five wickets that fell were taken by Kadik Tyagi from the bowlers from the Uttar Pradesh side.
