“130 Crore People Pray For PM Modi’s Long Life”: Amit Shah Jabs Congress, AAP

Amit Shah to visit Patna, address meeting of BJP cells on Sunday | India News - Times of India

BIDHAR, KARNATAKA: Hitting out at the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party for their objectionable slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the nation’s prayers for his longevity would not be heard.
“Congress has no evidence of victory. Under Rahul Gandhi, Congress is deteriorating day by day. They are chanting ‘Modi teri kabar kutheki’ and Aam Aadmi Party is saying ‘Modi du marja’. God will not listen. 130 crore people pray for PM Modi’s long life.” They do,” said Amit Shah while addressing a public meeting in Karnataka, where the elections were held, and asked whether people should vote for such a party.

On February 23, Congress leaders raised slogans against the Prime Minister at the Delhi airport while disembarking from the Pawan Khera flight.

Referring to Karnataka Congress president TK Sivakumar and former state chief minister Siddaramaiah, Amit Shah said that no matter how much they “abuse” the Prime Minister, the leaders will not win.

Congress, Siddaramaiah, TK Shivakumar should listen, whatever message Rahul Gandhi gives, the more mud you throw, the more lotuses will bloom. It is the nature of the lotus to smell the mud. No matter how much abuse. PM Modi, you will not win,” he said.

Taking further potshots at allies JD(S) and Congress in Karnataka, the Home Minister said they were only serving their “selfish objectives”.

“Both JDS and Congress are ‘family parties’. They can never think of people’s welfare. They tend to fulfill their selfish objectives. PFI ban by Modi government is a good decision. Our twin machine government is functioning. With double speed, Congress and JDS, on the other hand, Not ensuring growth in Karnataka,” he said.

Accusing Siddaramaiah of promoting corruption, Shah said the Congress leader is the family’s ATM who resides in Delhi.

Siddaramaiah did nothing but act as an ATM for a family living in Delhi. He encouraged nothing but corruption. Please don’t give any chance to such people and don’t take risk.

Talking about the election results of the three northeastern states of Nagaland, Tripura and Meghalaya, the Home Minister said that the party has been wiped out from the region.

“Delighted to be in Karnataka today, thank you all for your great visit. You all must know what happened in the North-East. Just yesterday thousands of kms North-East from Karnataka (Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya), Congress was destroyed. Congress got 0 seats in Nagaland and Meghalaya. 3 seats and only 4 in Tripura.

“The BJP was told that it cannot enter the Northeast. Today, the NDA and the BJP formed the government for the second time,” Shah added.

The Home Minister detailed the work done by the government for Karnataka and said that there is development under the BJP rule.

“Our government is ensuring massive growth in Karnataka and religiously follows Article 371J. From a special package of ₹ 3,000 crore in the last budget, we have allocated ₹ 5,000 crore for it in this year’s budget,” he said.

“From improving infrastructure to ensuring the welfare of farmers by increasing financial assistance under the Prime Minister-Kisan Yojana, we have brought overall prosperity in the state. Vote for Modi, vote for BJP to promote growth, security and prosperity of the state and the nation,” Shah added.
