50% discount on traffic fines in Karnataka has been extended for another two weeks
The Karnataka State Legal Services Commission has requested the state government to extend the 50 per cent discount on all traffic violation charges for another two weeks.

The 50 percent discount offer was implemented on February 2 and is valid only till February 11. However, after 64,13,608 cases were disposed of in the Lok Athalam, the KSLSA has requested the state government to extend the concession offer by another two weeks. On Saturday, of which 52,11,424 were traffic challan cases from across Karnataka.
News agency PTI reported on Tuesday that over Rs 152 crore in fines have been collected. Violators across the state will have to pay around ₹530 crore in fines to the traffic police, of which ₹500 crore will be paid from the state capital Bangalore.
Residents of Bangalore can pay the fine at local traffic police stations and Bangalore One Centers or visit Bangalore Traffic Police website: https://bangaloretrafficpolice.gov.in, while those outside Bangalore can visit Karnataka One Centers or nearby police stations. to pay their fines.
Citizens will soon be able to pay fines through insurance companies as well, Special Commissioner of Bengaluru Traffic Police MA Salim told Hindustan Times earlier this month.
