Karan Johar has responded to rumors of a three-film deal with Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. Here’s what he said

Filmmaker Karan Johar has responded to rumors that his production house Dharma Productions has signed a three-film deal with actor-couple Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. After Siddharth and Kiara Advani tied the knot earlier this month, several reports claim that Karan has signed a contract with both of them. The actors are yet to respond to these reports.

When The Times of India asked Garan about the project, he replied, “No”. So far, Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara have starred together in the biographical war film Shersha (2021), based on the life of Vikram Patra. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kash Entertainment. Siddharth played dual roles and Kiara played his girlfriend.

Siddharth and Kiara tied the knot on February 7 at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. After the marriage, both of them flew to Delhi. They hosted a wedding reception for their close friends and family members in Delhi on February 9. On December 12, they hosted another reception for the film industry in Mumbai.

Karan, who was part of the wedding festivities, wrote a note on Instagram for the couple on their wedding day. Sharing a picture of the newlyweds, Karan wrote, “I met her a year and a half ago….calm, strong and yet very sensitive. Years later I met her …calm, strong and very emotional in equal measure…”

“Then they met each other and I realized at that moment that these two pillars of strength and dignity could form an irreplaceable bond and create a most magical love story… Seeing them was a fairy tale rooted in tradition. The family… when they exchanged vows at the Mohabad Mani Mandapam. , everyone around them felt the pulse… felt the energy… I sat there with the same love, pride, excitement, bursting for both of them! I love you Sid.. .. I love you Ki…. May today be yours forever.. …,” he added.
Karan will soon make his directorial comeback with the upcoming romantic film Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.. It stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The film is slated to hit theaters on July 28 this year.
