Coronavirus Live Updates: India reports 197 new Covid cases in 24 hours
New Delhi: India reported 197 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours on Wednesday, taking the total number of cases to 4,46,80,583.
The country’s active caseload currently stands at 2,309.
India has so far reported 5,30,723 Covid deaths, with one in Kerala in the last 24 hours.

According to Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday, India saw a rise of 197 new coronavirus infections in a single day, while active cases fell to 2,309.
The total number of Covid cases has been recorded at 4.46 crore (4,46,80,583).
With one death in Kerala, the overall death toll stands at 5,30,723, data updated at 8 am.
