Miss Universe 2022 Winner: R’Bonney Gabriel from USA – Everything You Need to Know
On January 15, R’Bonnie Gabriel was crowned Miss Universe for Miss USA 2022 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Miss Venezuela and Miss Dominican Republic were runners up at the event.
India’s Divita Roy, who made it to the top 16, failed to become the 70th Miss Universe after Harnas Sandhu. Women from 84 countries competed for the crown at the beauty pageant held in Louisiana.
Besides modeling and teaching sewing, R’Bonney is an eco-friendly fashion designer.
He credits his exposure to the arts, athletics, and travel as the foundation of his opportunistic spirit. Transitioning from volleyball to fashion while in high school, she quickly fell in love with creating patterns with materials and textiles at the age of 15. In 2018, she graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and a Minor in Fibers.
According to the Miss Universe website, she is the CEO of her own sustainable clothing business, R’Bonney Nola.
