Supreme Court Slams Ex-IPL Boss Lalit Modi, Orders Unconditional Apology
New Delhi: The Supreme Court today reprimanded former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi for making anti-judiciary comments on social media and ordered him to tender an unconditional apology.
A bench of Justices MR Shah and CT Ravikumar said that Lalit Modi was not above the law and order and was not satisfied with the counter affidavit filed by him.
The Supreme Court ordered the former IPL commissioner to issue an apology on social media and leading national newspapers.
The Supreme Court directed him to file an affidavit before apologizing and not to make any such records in future to tarnish the reputation of the Indian judiciary.
