BJP’s Khushbu Sundar has been appointed as a member of the Women’s Rights Committee
New Delhi: Actor, politician and BJP leader Khushbu Sundar has been appointed as a member of the National Commission for Women (NCW). Bharatiya Janata Party National Executive Committee member Sundar announced his appointment on social media.
She was congratulated by Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai, who said her appointment was a recognition of her relentless efforts and struggle for women’s rights.

The actor, a filmmaker and TV anchor, initially joined the DMK but later switched to the Congress and became the party’s spokesperson.
He eventually switched to the BJP and contested the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. He lost to N Ezhilan of DMK.
He has been nominated as a member of NCW along with two others.
