Comedian and TV host Subhi Suresh passed away at the age of 41. The comedian and television anchor was reportedly suffering from a liver-related ailment. He died in a private hospital in Kochi today (February 22) morning.
Subhi Suresh started his career as a mimicry artist. However, she became a household name after entering the evergreen comedy show ‘Cinemala’. His hilarious avatars in the show are still loved by the audience. Subhi, who rose to fame with the sensational show, bagged a handful of roles in Malayalam films as well. He acted in comedy roles in ‘Happy Husbands’, ‘Kanganasimhasanam’ and many more.
After ‘Cinemala’, she gained attention on television with the children’s show ‘Kutti Bhattalam’. His funny interactions with children were much loved by the audience.
After the show, she was also seen in the special cooking show ‘Kutty Kalavara’. In 2018, she made a comeback to Malayalam TV with the show ‘Labour Room’.
In 2021, Subi received praise for her befitting response to a netizen who made nasty comments about her dressing style.
“I’m tired of such moral policing, uncles. Thinking he’s trying to be famous,” she shared the post with her signature quip, “His hilarious response was much appreciated.
The unfortunate demise of Subhi Suresh has left the entire entertainment industry in deep grief.
