I’m there to protect Jacqueline from case: Sukesh Chandrashekhar at Delhi’s Patiala House Court; ED custody extended by 2 days
Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has said that he has nothing to do with Jacqueline Fernandez in the 200 crore extortion case and will protect her. Her statements were released on Friday in Delhi’s Patiala House Court, where she accused jailed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister Satyendra Jain of threats and mental harassment.
Sukesh has also written to Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena regarding the matter, saying Jain harassed him by pressuring him to withdraw the cases against them.
The court extended Sukesh’s custody by two days
News agency India Today reported that during the court hearing, Sukesh challenged the Aam Aadmi Party government to remove Jain from the cabinet ranks. He alleged that Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Deepak Sharma extorted money from him and leaked the video from inside the jail.
A Delhi court has extended Sukesh’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody by two days and summoned filmmaker Karim Morani in connection with the case.
Sukesh says he will protect Jacqueline from this case
Sukesh said that he had informed the Enforcement Directorate about everything during the investigation and the details would be included in the chargesheet. He also said that he was rich enough to finance himself and that he would be contesting next year’s elections.
Regarding Jacqueline Fernandez, Sukesh said that she is not in an extortion case and need not worry as she will defend herself. It is not known what the connection between this case and the actress is.
