There will reportedly be about 100 people at the wedding, and the couple has instituted a no-phone rule. All wedding guests’ phones are said to be taken away during the ceremony.

Today the two lovers will exchange vows at Sunil Shetty’s Kandala house in Jashan. Over the past few days, several videos of the stunning villa where Sunil Shetty was making all the final preparations and arrangements have surfaced online. On January 21, a ladies night and sangeet ceremony marked the start of Rahul Athiya’s wedding. Sunday featured a large cocktail party.
Lucknow Supergiant team owner Sanjeev Goenka, former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and some IPL friends have also been invited to the wedding. Among other Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will not be able to attend the wedding.
While others gather for the T20 series, Kohli and Rohit will be in action during the third ODI between India and New Zealand in Indore. For the IND vs AUS series, Test specialists like Ravichandran Ashwin and Cheteshwar Pujara have already started their preparations.
Marriage time
According to reports, Athiya and KL Rahul will officially get married at 4 PM in the presence of their family members and close friends. After the wedding ceremonies, the couple and their family members will give the paparazzi a glimpse of their official wedding by 6.30 pm.
