Reliance Jio has announced a ‘massive’ 5G launch in 50 cities. Check out the list
Reliance Jio on Tuesday announced the rollout of its 5G services in 50 Indian cities across 17 states, a “massive” launch, taking the latest count to 184 cities. The company will invite Jio users from these cities to join the welcome offer where they will get unlimited data experience at 1 Gbps speed.
“Reliance Jio has become the first and only operator to launch 5G services in most cities,” the company said in a statement.
A Jio spokesperson said the current 5G service is the largest in the world. “We have accelerated the pace and intensity of the rollout of Jio True 5G across the country so that every user can experience the transformative benefits of Jio True 5G technology by 2023,” the spokesperson added. The company further said that the entire country will enjoy its 5G services by December 2023.
Reliance Jio’s True 5G services have been launched in seven cities in Andhra Pradesh, one in Assam, three in Chhattisgarh, one in Goa, eight in Haryana, one in Jharkhand, five in Karnataka, one in Kerala, three in Maharashtra and six in Odisha. , one in Puducherry, one in Punjab, two in Rajasthan, three in Tamil Nadu, one in Telangana, four in Uttar Pradesh and two in West Bengal.
