Rhea Chakraborty shared two pictures on late actor and lover Sushant Singh Rajput’s birthday on Saturday. Sushant will turn 37 this year. The actor was found dead at his Bandra home in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. Rhea was accused of abetting suicide by Sushant’s family and was held in jail for 28 days before being granted bail. His friends said he was wrongly implicated in the case

Sharing two candid pictures with Sushant Singh Rajput on Instagram, Rhea wrote, “(Infinity sign) +1. “The first picture showed the two of them posing candidly behind two cups.” The second is a happy selfie of them together.
Rhea’s friends Shibani Thandekar and Krishna Shroff dropped heart emojis in the comments section of the post. While many wished the actor on his birthday, many continued to blame Rhea for his death.
Sushant was found dead days after Rhea moved out of the Bandra house they shared. As his death led to an investigation into drug links in Bollywood, he and his younger brother Shok Chakraborty were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau. He was released on bail after 28 days and pleaded not guilty.
Rhea was last seen in Rummy Jaffrey’s 2021 film Sehre, which was shot in 2019-2020. The film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Amitabh Bachchan, Siddhant Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav and Annu Kapoor. Almost a year ago, Rhea shared a video from a radio station and wrote on Instagram, “Yesterday, I went back to work after 2 years. Thanks to everyone who stood by me in my tough times. It’s okay. What, the sun always shines. Never give up.”
