“Lord Shiva has blessed me with more success than I deserve in my career. But my personal life, for the last 7-8 years, has been very difficult. An untimely loss of a family member breaks you; I lost so much one after the other…there is only so much grief one can bear. “Many times over the past few years, I’ve felt my ability to withstand the breaking point,” the author said in an emotional note.
“At times, I appealed to Lord Shiva why life can’t be easy. I’m reminded of a poem I wrote in college: You don’t realize how good the good is until you see how bad the bad is. And now I see how good things are when things go through hardships,” he said.
Finally, she made an announcement about her personal life, “I’ve been given a 2nd chance – better than I ever expected. You know, I’ve been divorced and single for years. I always thank Lord Shiva for his grace in my career. After a long time, I thanked him for the blessings in my personal life as well. I thank him for my son Neil and my fiancee Shivani.
