Cricketer Shubman Gill has broken his silence on the rumors of him dating actor Sara Ali Khan. He spoke about the rumors during an appearance on Punjabi chat show Dil Dyan Kallan.
Cricketer Shubman Gill has finally responded to the many rumors and reports that he is dating actor Sara Ali Khan. The cricketer appeared on a talk show with Sonam Bajwa, where she told him about her equation with Sara. Although Shubman kept it brief, he did leave some hints about their relationship. Shubman Gill makes a guest appearance in the promo for the upcoming episode of Sonam’s popular Punjabi chat show Dil Dyan gallan Season 2. In the video, Sonam asks him to name Bollywood’s best female actor. Subman immediately responded, “Sarah!” Later in the episode, the host asks him “Are you dating Sarah?” Subman replied, “Maybe.” Sonam smiles and asks in Punjabi, “Sara da saara sach bolo please (please tell the whole truth)”. Subman replies, “Sara ta saara sach bol rayan (I am telling the whole truth). Maybe and maybe not.”
Shubman and Sarah were first spotted together in August this year. A video shared by TikTok user Uzma Merchant showed Sara and Shubman dining together at Bastian, a popular restaurant in Worli, Mumbai. This surprised many fans of both the cricketer and the actor. Before this, Shubman was linked with another Sara – Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter.
In October, rumors swirled again after the two checked out of the same hotel and later clicked on the same flight. Videos of Sara and Subham leaving the same hotel and boarding the same flight led fans to believe that the two are dating.
This is the first time the two have spoken about their rumored relationship. But not confirmed yet. Sara was earlier dating her Love Aaj Kal co-star Karthik Aryan, but they reportedly broke up in 2020. In a recent interview Sarah denied being in a relationship at the moment.
