Video: G20 Delegates Arrive In Srinagar For Third Tourism Meet
Srinagar: The delegation attending the third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting was accorded a warm welcome at the Srinagar airport. The 3rd Tourism Task Force meeting is being held in Srinagar from May 22 to 24.
Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and Amitabh Kant G20 Sherpa welcomed the guests at Srinagar Airport. An ethnic and spectacular display of traditional dance forms by local artists showcasing the cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir was also performed.

Security has been beefed up in Srinagar. For this three-day G20 Summit, National Security Guard (NSG) and Marcos commandos have been deployed at the aerial surveillance drone surveillance site under the three-layered security grid in Kashmir and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police will be deployed at several locations to ensure that no terrorist incidents take place.

In Srinagar, graffiti depicting the scenery and colors of Srinagar cover the walls of the city.
As of now, the G20 working group meeting in Jammu and Kashmir will focus on five key priority areas: green tourism, digitization, skills, MSMEs and destination management.
The meeting aims to strengthen economic development, preserve cultural heritage and promote sustainable development of the region.
The event is attended by G20 member states, invited countries, international organizations and industry stakeholders.
G20 Chief Coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is to take the message of India’s G20 chairmanship to the grassroots through Jan Bakhitari.
