Video: Truck skids, crashes into CRPF vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir, 2 injured
New Delhi: Two security personnel were injured when a speeding truck rammed into a vehicle parked across the road in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district yesterday.
Two CRPF personnel were injured in a collision with a speeding truck at Awantipora in Pulwama district early this morning, the paramilitary force said in a statement.
The accident was captured on CCTV video in the area. Shocking footage released by the CRPF shows an army vehicle parked on the roadside. A truck coming from the opposite direction, while trying to overtake another vehicle, skidded and swerved before colliding heavily with the CRPF vehicle. The road appears to be wet, which may have caused the truck to skid.
As the cargo area of the lorry is closed, it is not known whether the vehicle is loaded.
More details on the accident are awaited.
