Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka has announced her pregnancy and is expecting her first child
Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka and American rapper Korte are soon to be parents. This was revealed by the 25-year-old professional tennis player in an announcement on social media.
The tennis star has been dating the 25-year-old rapper since 2019. In a note posted on Twitter on Wednesday (January 11), Osaka said, “The last few years have been interesting to say the least, but I found it. The most challenging times in life can be the most fun.”
The tennis player also shared an ultrasound photo. “These few months away from the game have given me a new love and appreciation for the sport I have dedicated my life to.”
“I realize that life is too short, I don’t take any moment for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure. I know I have so much to look forward to in the future, and one thing I look forward to is my child watching one of my games and saying, ‘That’s my mom. ‘ to tell somebody,” he added.
In the post, the athlete did not mention Korte. But a representative for the “RNP” hitmaker has apparently confirmed to Billboard that he is the father.
Closing the note, Osaka said that while she doesn’t think there is a right path to take in life, she feels that if you move forward with good intentions, you will eventually find your way. He also shared a Japanese version of the note.
