BJP-IPFT alliance will rule Tripura for 40-50 years: CM
Agartala, May 17 Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has assured that the BJP-IPFD alliance will rule the northeastern state for the next 40-50 years.
The CPI(M)-led Left Front ruled the state for 25 consecutive years till 2018. “People have full faith in the BJP-IPFT government and have given us a second term. Our alliance will rule the state for the next 40-50 years as we are focusing on growth and development,” Saha told reporters on Tuesday, marking one year since he took over as chief minister.
Saha, who replaced Biplap Kumar Deb as chief minister last year, asserted that the BJP-led government was “pushing development into top gear”.
Saha said his government was maintaining law and order.
“There may be some issues, but we are leaving no stone unturned to resolve those issues,” he said.
The Chief Minister said that apart from health and agriculture, the state government is focusing on improving connectivity such as highways, railways and air. PTI PS ACT ACT
