Jamaica has started an investigation in this regard. The Financial Services Commission (FSC) said it has placed the company under ‘enhanced supervision’ while it conducts investigations. According to Bolt’s attorney Lyndon Gordon, the account was used as Bolt’s pension for himself and his parents. Bolt retired in 2017 after dominating the global sprinting circuit. Bolt can also be said to have revitalized a sport that has always been under the spotlight due to doping scandals. Bolt’s prowess is evidenced by the fact that he has become a household name with the likes of Brazilian soccer legend Pele and American boxing champion Muhammad Ali. The Jamaican sprinter holds records in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4 × 100 meters relay and is considered one of the greatest sprinters of all time.
