Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain.
Ahead of India’s 4th Test against Australia, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
A video of the celebrity couple sitting inside the temple with other pilgrims is going viral on social media. They visited the temple on Saturday morning, a day after the conclusion of the 3rd Test between India and Australia in Indore.
“We came here to pray and had a good ‘darshan’ at the Mahakaleshwar temple,” Anushka Sharma told ANI.
It’s no secret that Virat and Anushka are religious. Earlier this year, the duo also visited Rishikesh and Vrindavan along with their daughter Vamika. While in Vrindavan, the family visited Baba Neem Karoli’s ashram, and in Rishikesh, they visited Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj’s samadhi at Swami Dayanand Ashram.
In the ongoing Test series in Indore, Australia beat India by 9 wickets at the Holkar Stadium on Friday. India were bowled out for 109 in the first innings and if not for Cheteshwar Pujara’s half-century in the second innings, the hosts might have lost the game by an innings.
The win qualified the Australians for the World Test Championship final at the Oval in London in June. India now need a win in the final Test for the final against Australia. The fourth and final Test will be played in Ahmedabad from March 9.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma is next seen in Shakta Express, a sports biopic based on cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
