Watch: Rahul Gandhi’s dosa lunch in Bangalore Then a scooter ride
Congress supporters in Bengaluru were campaigning for the party ahead of the Karnataka polls on Sunday when senior leader Rahul Gandhi took a billion ride on a delivery agent’s scooter.
Congress shared a video on Twitter of the 52-year-old leader meeting a group of delivery workers in the Karnataka capital and then riding one of their scooters.
“Today @RahulGandhiji had a candid conversation with Gig workers and delivery partners from Dunzo, Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit etc at the prestigious Airlines Hotel in Bengaluru,” the tweet read.
The clip shows Mr Gandhi interacting with gig workers over coffee and masala dosa. He inquired about the working conditions of agents and the difficulties they face while working as distribution executives.

Later in the video, the former Congress leader can be seen sitting behind a delivery agent on his scooter and wearing a blue helmet. The Congress leader reportedly traveled about two km on a scooter to reach his hotel.
Since launching the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the President has intensified his efforts to personally reach out and interact with the common people through spontaneous visits and public meetings.
Last month, the former Congress leader visited the Old Delhi market and feasted on the region’s famous dishes during the festival of Ramzan. On Friday, the Congress leader visited the Delhi University Men’s Hostel to discuss issues faced by students and had lunch.
With 4 days left for the Karnataka elections, all the parties have stepped up their campaign in the state in an attempt to woo voters.
Mr Gandhi is scheduled to hold public meetings across Bengaluru today and tomorrow.
