A 37-year-old woman was gang-raped in UP’s Gonda
Konda (UP), May 22 (PTI) A 37-year-old woman was gang-raped by four people, including a former village headman, in Itiyathok area here, police said on Monday.
Circle Officer (CO) of Police Shilpa Verma said that the four accused, who have been booked by the police department, threatened the woman.
In a complaint filed with the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Devipatan Range, the woman said that on March 15, when she went to her poultry farm, Amar Singh, the former village headman, along with his three accomplices, raped and threatened her.
Verma said that an FIR was registered against the four accused on Sunday as per the instructions of the DIG. PTI COR SAB RHL
