Scientist Suchitra Pyarelal has been appointed as the new head of NIC, Lakshadweep
According to an official order, Scientist Suchitra Pyarelal is the new head of the National Informatics Center (NIC) in Lakshadweep.
Transferred from NIC Guwahati to NIC Kerala, Pyarelal will also head the Center for Microservices (CEM) in Kochi.
“It has been decided with the approval of the competent authority that Scientist Suchitra Pyarelal, in addition to her existing responsibilities, will take over as SIO, NIC Lakshadweep, Kavaratti & HOG – Center of Excellence on Microservices, Kochi, Kerala after relinquishing her charge. Mohan Krishnan is responsible for the retirement of P.V.,” the official order said.
Another official order said, “In public interest and in the prevailing terms and conditions of her appointment, Suchitra Pyarelal is transferred from NIC Assam State Centre, Guwahati to NIC Kerala State Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.” He received his PhD in Electrical Governance from IIT Guwahati.
