A video of two women fighting over a saree at an annual sale in Bengaluru’s Malleswaram is going viral on the internet. In a video shared by Twitter user R Vaidya, two women were seen arguing over a saree while shopping at Mysore Silks in Malleswaram, Bangalore. The argument soon turned into a fight as the girls started hitting each other and pulling their hair.
However, other customers did not bother to stop the fist fight. Security staff tried to break up the fight, but enraged customers continued to throw volleys at each other. The video shows a large number of people shopping inside the store when the incident happened.

The now-viral video is captioned, “Mysore silk saree annual sale @malleswaram..two customers fight over the saree.”

The video quickly caught the attention of social media users and has garnered more than 1 lakh views on Twitter. A user commented. “I love people who shop without even turning their heads to see what’s going on.”

“A saree is not just a garment, it’s a feeling,” joked a second user.

“Shows how much demand their sarees are in. This video can be shown as an advertisement,” wrote a third user.
“There are people in this country who fight for land, money and sarees,” quipped a fourth.
