HP Board: Girls top all streams in Class 12
Dharamshala, May 20 (PTI) Girls have passed the Class 12 examination in Himachal Pradesh with a pass percentage of 79.40.
As the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education released the Class 12 results on Saturday, girls topped the Arts, Commerce and Science categories.
According to a press release, a total of 1,05,369 students appeared for the exam in March this year, out of which 83,418 students were declared pass and 13,335 students scored in the ‘compartment’ category.
Varinda Thakur of Govt School Sarahan topped the commerce stream with 98.4 per cent marks, Ojaswini Upmanyu of government School Ghanari (Una) topped the science stream securing 98.6 per cent, and Tarjina Sharma of DAV School Una aced the arts stream with 97.4 per cent marks. PTI COR VN VN
